- Malta is the Nurse of the Mediterranean, where soldiers come to be healed, and there are those among the healers who practice the invisible arts. They keep shrines in locked rooms in their hospitals to invoke the healing Hours. No-one prays to the Colonel for healing. They only visit this rotting room under the eaves to invoke him when death would be a mercy.
